1Soak the Hojas de maíz in hot water for at least 30 minutes until pliable. Drain and pat dry.
2In a large bowl, beat the Manteca de cerdo with an electric mixer until it is light and fluffy, about 5 minutes.
3Gradually add the Masa de maíz nixtamalizada para tamales to the beaten Manteca de cerdo, mixing until well combined.
