1Dice the red onion, mince the garlic, and finely chop the red bell pepper. Roughly chop the fresh parsley and fresh oregano.
2Heat the Extra-virgin olive oil in a large, heavy-bottomed pot or Dutch oven over medium heat.
3Add the diced Red onion and Red bell pepper to the pot and sauté for 5-7 minutes until softened. Add the minced Garlic and Dried Calabrian chili flakes, cooking for another 2 minutes until fragrant.
