Soak the Chana dal in water for at least 4 hours, then drain thoroughly.

In a large bowl, combine Atta flour, Semolina, 50g Ghee, and 5g Salt. Rub the Ghee into the flour mixture until it resembles breadcrumbs. Gradually add 120g Water and knead to form a firm, smooth dough. Cover the dough and let it rest for 30 minutes.

Grind the drained Chana dal with Green chili and Ginger into a coarse paste without adding any water.
