1Place the fenugreek seeds in a bowl and cover with ample cold water. Allow the fenugreek seeds to soak overnight, or for at least 12 hours, until softened.
2Drain the soaked fenugreek seeds thoroughly and rinse them under cold running water. Ensure all excess water is removed.
3Peel the garlic cloves. Using a food processor or a mortar and pestle, grind the soaked fenugreek seeds together with the garlic until a smooth paste forms.
