Wash glutinous rice, foxtail millet, and sorghum separately until the water runs clear. Soak the glutinous rice in 300g of water for 2 hours. Soak the foxtail millet and sorghum in separate bowls with 100g of water each for 30 minutes.

Wash black beans thoroughly and soak them in 200g of water for 4 hours or overnight.

Wash red beans thoroughly and soak them in 200g of water for 2 hours.
