1Thoroughly clean the Godeulppaegi under running water, removing any dirt or damaged leaves. Separate the leaves if they are clumped together.
2Bring a large pot of water to a rolling boil. Add 10 grams of Salt to the boiling water.
3Carefully add the cleaned Godeulppaegi to the boiling water and blanch for 30 to 60 seconds, until slightly softened but still vibrant green.
