In a dry pan, lightly roast the Fresh coconut over medium heat until golden brown. Remove from pan.

In the same pan, dry roast Dried red chilies (Byadagi), Dried red chilies (Kashmiri), Coriander seeds, Cumin seeds, Black peppercorns, Cloves, Cinnamon stick, and Green cardamom pods until fragrant. Be careful not to burn them.
