1In a large bowl, combine masa harina de maíz and sal marina.
2Add manteca de cerdo to the masa harina de maíz mixture and work it in with your fingertips until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
3Gradually add agua tibia, mixing and kneading the masa dough until it is soft, pliable, and uniform. The masa dough should not be sticky or too dry.
