In a separate bowl, whisk together the Milk and Egg. Pour the wet mixture into the dry ingredients and mix with a spatula until a shaggy dough forms.

Turn the dough out onto a clean work surface and knead for 5 minutes until it comes together. Add the softened Unsalted butter and continue kneading for another 10-15 minutes until the dough is smooth, elastic, and passes the windowpane test.
