1Peel the Potatoes and cut them into quarters. Boil the Potatoes in salted water until very tender, about 15-20 minutes. Drain thoroughly and mash them completely until smooth, then set aside.
2In a large frying pan, heat a small amount of Vegetable oil over medium heat. Add the finely diced Onion and sauté until softened and translucent, about 5 minutes.
3Add the Ground beef to the pan with the Onion. Break up the Ground beef with a spoon and cook until browned, about 5-7 minutes. Drain any excess fat.
