If not already sprouted, soak Moth beans overnight, then drain and keep in a warm place for 1-2 days until sprouted.

To prepare the Kolhapuri Masala Paste, first dry roast 50 grams grated dry coconut in a pan until golden brown. Remove and set aside.

In the same pan, dry roast 10 grams sesame seeds, 5 grams poppy seeds, 2 grams cloves, 3 grams cinnamon stick, 2 grams green cardamom, 2 grams black peppercorns, 1 gram star anise, 1 gram bay leaf, and 15 grams dry red chilies until fragrant. Remove and set aside.
