1To prepare the syrup, combine 750 grams of Sugar and 500 grams of Water in a saucepan. Bring to a boil over medium heat, stirring until the Sugar dissolves completely.
2Reduce the heat and simmer the syrup for 10 minutes. Add the Lemon juice and continue to simmer for another 2 minutes.
3Remove the syrup from heat and let it cool completely to room temperature. It must be cold when the hot Halka Tatli are added.
