1. Prepare the anchovy broth: Remove heads and guts from the Dried anchovies. Lightly toast the Dried anchovies in a dry pan over medium heat for 2-3 minutes until fragrant. This removes any fishy smell.

2. In a large pot, combine the toasted Dried anchovies, Dried kelp, Korean radish, Onion, and Garlic with Water. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 20 minutes.

3. Carefully strain the broth through a fine-mesh sieve, discarding all solids. Set the clear anchovy broth aside and keep warm.
