1Wash Sona Masuri Rice and Moong Dal together thoroughly under running water until the water runs clear.
2In a heavy-bottomed pan, lightly dry roast the washed Moong Dal over medium heat for 3-4 minutes until it turns aromatic and slightly golden. Be careful not to burn it.
3Combine the roasted Moong Dal and washed Sona Masuri Rice in a pressure cooker. Add 600g of Water.
