1In a heavy-bottomed pan, combine the Jaggery and Water. Heat on a low flame, stirring continuously until the Jaggery completely melts and forms a thick syrup.
2Add the Freshly grated coconut to the melted Jaggery syrup. Mix thoroughly and continue cooking on a low to medium flame, stirring constantly to prevent sticking.
3Cook the coconut and jaggery mixture for approximately 15-20 minutes, or until it thickens, starts to leave the sides of the pan, and becomes slightly sticky and cohesive.
