1Rinse Glutinous Rice thoroughly, then soak it in cold water for at least 4 hours, or preferably overnight. Drain well before cooking.
2Soak Dried Jujubes and Lotus Seeds in warm water for 30 minutes until softened. Remove pits from Dried Jujubes if necessary. Drain Lotus Seeds.
3Chop Candied Winter Melon into small pieces. If Walnuts are large, chop them into smaller pieces.
