1Thoroughly wash 1000 grams of glutinous rice under cold running water until the water runs clear.
2Soak the washed glutinous rice in 1500 grams of fresh water for at least 6 hours, or preferably overnight.
3Drain the soaked glutinous rice completely and steam it in a steamer for 40 minutes until it becomes firm and translucent (go-du-bap).
