1Rinse Japanese short-grain rice thoroughly under cold running water until the water runs clear.
2Place the rinsed Japanese short-grain rice in a rice cooker pot and add 360g of Water. Let the rice soak for 30 minutes.
3Cook the Japanese short-grain rice using the standard setting on your rice cooker. Once cooked, let it steam for an additional 10-15 minutes without opening the lid.
