1Wash and boil 500 grams of Potatoes until tender but still firm. Allow them to cool completely, then peel and dice them into 2 cm cubes.
2Heat 30 grams of Vegetable oil in a large pan or kadai over medium heat.
3Add 5 grams of Mustard seeds to the hot oil. Once they begin to splutter, add 10 grams of Urad dal and fry until the dal turns golden brown.
