1Place almonds in a heatproof bowl and pour enough hot water to cover them. Let almonds soak for 15 minutes, then drain the water and peel off the skins from all almonds.
2Transfer the peeled almonds to a blender jar along with 50 grams of milk and blend into a very smooth, fine paste.
3Add the remaining 450 grams of milk, sugar, green cardamom powder, and saffron strands to the blender jar with the almond paste.
