1Wash the Guavas thoroughly and trim off the stem and blossom ends. Cut each Guava into quarters.
2In a large pot, combine the quartered Guavas and Water. Bring to a boil over medium-high heat, then reduce heat and simmer for 15-20 minutes, or until the Guavas are very soft.
3Carefully drain the Guavas, reserving the cooking liquid. Pass the cooked Guavas through a food mill or a fine-mesh sieve to remove the seeds and skin, collecting the smooth Guava pulp. Discard the solids.
