1Thoroughly rinse 1000 grams Glutinous Rice until the water runs clear. Soak the rinsed Glutinous Rice in 1000 grams Water for at least 8 hours or overnight.
2Drain the soaked Glutinous Rice. Steam the drained Glutinous Rice in a steamer basket lined with a clean cloth for 30 minutes, or until fully cooked and translucent.
3Spread the steamed Glutinous Rice on a clean, sterile surface to cool completely to room temperature. Ensure no clumps remain.
