1Wash Rohu fish pieces thoroughly and pat dry. Marinate the Rohu fish with 5 grams of turmeric powder and 5 grams of salt for 15 minutes.
2Heat 80 grams of mustard oil in a large kadai or deep pan over medium-high heat. Once the oil is smoking, reduce heat to medium.
3Shallow-fry the marinated Rohu fish pieces in batches until golden brown on both sides. Remove and set aside.
