1To prepare the filling, dry-toast the Black sesame seeds in a wok over medium heat until fragrant, about 3-5 minutes. Be careful not to burn them.
2Transfer the toasted Black sesame seeds to a food processor or mortar and pestle and grind them into a fine powder.
3In a bowl, combine the ground Black sesame seeds, Granulated sugar, and softened Lard. Mix thoroughly until a cohesive, slightly crumbly paste forms.
