1Begin by preparing the dried fruits. Place the Dried figs in a bowl and cover with warm water; let them soak for at least 30 minutes until softened. Do the same with the Raisins in a separate bowl.
2While the fruits are soaking, lightly toast the Walnuts and Almonds in a dry pan over medium heat for a few minutes until fragrant. Let them cool, then coarsely chop the Walnuts and Almonds.
3Drain the Dried figs, pat them dry, and finely chop them. Drain the Raisins and gently squeeze out excess water.
