1Rinse 250 grams Chana Dal thoroughly and soak in 700 ml Water for at least 4 hours, or preferably overnight.
2Drain the soaked Chana Dal and pressure cook with 500 ml fresh Water, 3 grams Salt, and 2 grams Turmeric powder for 3-4 whistles until tender but still holding its shape. Set aside.
3Grate 20 grams Fresh ginger and slit 10 grams Green chili. Keep 50 grams Freshly grated coconut ready.
