1Soak the Tamarind in 250 grams of warm Water for 15 minutes. Mash thoroughly and extract the thick pulp, discarding any fibrous residue. Set aside the Tamarind pulp.
2Heat the Sesame oil in a heavy-bottomed pot or pan over medium heat. Once hot, add the Mustard seeds and allow them to splutter.
3Add the Cumin seeds and Fenugreek seeds, frying until fragrant, about 30 seconds.
