1Thaw the frozen croissant dough sheets in the refrigerator according to package instructions until pliable but still cold.
2Preheat a Taiyaki maker or a waffle iron with Taiyaki plates. Lightly brush the interior of the Taiyaki maker with unsalted butter.
3On a lightly floured surface, gently unfold one sheet of croissant dough. Cut the dough into rectangles slightly larger than the Taiyaki mold cavities.
