1Heat Ghee in a large heavy-bottomed pan or Dutch oven over medium heat.
2Add Cumin seeds and Mustard seeds. Once the Mustard seeds begin to splutter, add Asafoetida and Curry leaves. Sauté for 10 seconds until fragrant.
3Add the finely chopped Onion and sauté until it turns golden brown, about 8-10 minutes.
