1Wash 100g Toor dal thoroughly. Pressure cook the Toor dal with 500g Water and 1g Turmeric powder until very soft, about 3-4 whistles. Mash the cooked Toor dal well to a smooth consistency.
2Soak 15g Tamarind in 100g hot Water for 10 minutes. Squeeze to extract the pulp and discard any fibrous material.
3Finely chop 150g Tomato. Crush 10g Ginger, 10g Garlic, and 10g Green chili into a coarse paste.
