1Rinse the Idli rice thoroughly under running water. Place it in a large bowl and add 300g Water. Let it soak for 4-6 hours.
2In a separate bowl, rinse the Urad dal and Fenugreek seeds together thoroughly. Add 200g Water and let them soak for 4-6 hours alongside the rice.
3After soaking, drain the Urad dal and Fenugreek seeds. Transfer them to a wet grinder or high-speed blender. Grind into a very smooth and fluffy batter, adding small amounts of fresh Water gradually as needed.
