1Rinse the urad dal and fenugreek seeds together under running water until the water runs clear. Place them in a large bowl.
2Rinse the raw rice separately under running water until clear. Place it in another large bowl.
3Add 500g water to the urad dal and fenugreek seeds, ensuring they are fully submerged. Soak for at least 6 hours or overnight.
