1In a medium saucepan, combine Warabiko, Granulated sugar, and Water. Whisk thoroughly until the Warabiko and Granulated sugar are fully dissolved and no lumps remain.
2Place the saucepan over medium heat, stirring continuously with a wooden spoon or spatula. The mixture will gradually thicken and become translucent. Continue stirring until it forms a very thick, clear, and glossy paste, resembling a firm jelly. This process typically takes 10 to 15 minutes.
3Carefully transfer the hot warabimochi mixture onto a lightly dampened flat tray or shallow dish. Spread it evenly to about 1.5 to 2 cm thickness.
