1Prepare the nuts and dates: Blanch almonds and pistachios in hot water for a few minutes, then peel their skins and slice them thinly. Deseed the dates and slice them into thin strips.
2Heat ghee in a heavy-bottomed pan over medium-low heat.
3Add the sliced almonds, sliced pistachios, cashew nuts, and chironji to the hot ghee. Fry them gently until they turn light golden brown and become fragrant. Remove the fried nuts and chironji from the pan and set them aside.
