1Soak 150g short-grain rice in cold water for at least 30 minutes, then drain.
2Clean 200g mackerel fillet thoroughly. Steam or boil the mackerel fillet until cooked through, about 10-15 minutes.
3Once cooked, carefully remove the skin and any remaining bones from the mackerel, then flake the flesh into small pieces. Set aside.
