1Clean the Rohu fish pieces thoroughly. Marinate the Rohu fish with 2 grams of Turmeric, 5 grams of Red chili powder, and 5 grams of Salt. Set aside for 20 minutes.
2Soak the Tamarind in 250 milliliters of warm water for 15 minutes. Squeeze out the pulp and strain to get a thick Tamarind extract. Discard the fibrous residue.
3Heat 50 grams of Cooking oil in a wide, heavy-bottomed pan or clay pot over medium heat.
