1Wash the Moong Dal thoroughly under running water until the water runs clear. Soak the Moong Dal in fresh water for 30 minutes.
2Drain the soaked Moong Dal. Combine the drained Moong Dal with 600 grams of Water, Turmeric powder, and half of the Salt in a pressure cooker. Cook for 3-4 whistles on medium heat until the dal is soft and mushy.
3Once the pressure releases naturally, mash the cooked Moong Dal lightly with a ladle to achieve a smooth consistency.
