1Wash the Korean cucumbers thoroughly. Do not peel them. Prick each Korean cucumber several times with a fork to allow the brine to penetrate.
2In a large pot, combine the Water, Coarse sea salt, White vinegar, and Granulated sugar. Add the Garlic cloves and Korean chili peppers.
3Bring the mixture to a rolling boil over high heat, stirring until the Coarse sea salt and Granulated sugar are fully dissolved.
