1In a medium saucepan, combine the Whole Milk, Granulated Sugar, and Cornstarch. Whisk until the Cornstarch is fully dissolved and no lumps remain.
2Place the saucepan over medium heat, stirring continuously with a spatula or whisk. Continue to cook, scraping the bottom and sides, until the mixture thickens considerably and pulls away from the sides of the pan, forming a thick paste. This should take about 8-10 minutes.
3Immediately transfer the thick milk paste into a shallow rectangular dish or mold (approximately 20x15 cm) that has been lightly greased. Use a spatula to spread and flatten the top evenly.
