1Slice the Pane casereccio into approximately 1 cm thick pieces.
2Heat a griddle pan or a toaster until hot. Toast the Pane casereccio slices until golden and crisp on both sides.
3Carefully peel and halve the Garlic clove. While the toasted Pane casereccio is still warm, gently rub the cut side of the Garlic over one surface of each slice.
