1Thoroughly clean and rinse the Sorghum Grains and Wheat Grains. Steam the Sorghum Grains until they are cooked through but still firm, then spread them out to cool completely.
2Once the steamed Sorghum Grains have cooled to room temperature, gently mix them with the Wheat Grains and the Qu Starter Culture. Ensure the Qu Starter Culture is evenly distributed throughout the grains.
3Transfer the mixture into large, clean fermentation vessels or traditional fermentation pits. Add the Water, ensuring the grains are adequately moistened but not submerged in excess liquid. Cover the vessels to allow for anaerobic fermentation.
