1Wash Split Green Moong Dal thoroughly and soak in water for 30 minutes. Drain the water.
2In a pressure cooker, combine the soaked Split Green Moong Dal with 700ml water, 5g of Ginger (finely chopped), 5g of Garlic (finely chopped), Turmeric powder, and 4g of Salt. Pressure cook for 3-4 whistles or until the dal is soft and well-cooked. Mash lightly if desired.
3While the dal cooks, prepare the green paste: In a blender, combine Fresh coriander leaves, Fresh mint leaves, Green chili, remaining 15g of Ginger, and remaining 15g of Garlic with a splash of water. Blend to a smooth paste.
