11. Soak black chickpeas in plenty of water overnight (at least 8 hours). Drain and rinse the soaked black chickpeas.
22. Pressure cook the drained black chickpeas with 500 grams of water and 3 grams of salt for 5-6 whistles or until tender. Set aside.
33. Finely chop onion. Crush ginger and garlic into a coarse paste. Slit green chili.
