In a large mixing bowl, combine the Atta flour, Salt, chopped Green chili, grated Ginger, chopped Fresh cilantro, Cumin seeds, and Asafoetida.

Gradually add the Water to the dry ingredients, whisking continuously to form a smooth, lump-free batter. The consistency should be thin, similar to buttermilk.
