1Wash the Shishito peppers thoroughly and pat them dry with a paper towel. Pierce each Shishito pepper once with a toothpick near the stem to prevent them from bursting during grilling.
2In a small bowl, combine the Koikuchi soy sauce, Mirin, and Sake. Set aside.
3Heat a grill pan or heavy-bottomed skillet over medium-high heat. Add the Vegetable oil and swirl to coat the pan.
