In a large mixing bowl, combine Besan, Semolina, Citric acid, Sugar, Salt, Ginger-green chili paste, Turmeric powder, and Asafoetida.

Add 15 grams of Oil and 250 grams of Water to the dry ingredients. Whisk thoroughly to form a smooth, lump-free batter. Ensure the batter is of pouring consistency. Cover and let it rest for 20 minutes.
