1Divide the tsubu-an into 8 equal portions, approximately 25 grams each, and roll them into smooth balls. Set aside.
2In a microwave-safe bowl, combine the shiratamako and sugar. Gradually add the water, stirring until a smooth, lump-free batter forms.
3Cover the bowl loosely with plastic wrap and microwave on high for 2 minutes. Remove and stir the dough vigorously with a wet spatula.
