1Wash the Guavas thoroughly, trim the ends, and cut them in half.
2Place the cut Guavas in a large pot with 500 grams of Water. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer until the Guavas are very soft, about 20-25 minutes.
3Carefully drain the Guavas, reserving a small amount of the cooking liquid. Let the Guavas cool slightly.
