1Place the Dried Wakame in a bowl and cover with cold water. Let it rehydrate for 5-10 minutes until fully expanded, then drain well and gently squeeze out any excess water. Cut into bite-sized pieces if large.
2Carefully peel the Yamaimo. Using a sharp knife, cut the Yamaimo into thin matchsticks (julienne) approximately 5 cm long.
3Wash the Cucumber and slice it into thin rounds or julienne it to match the Yamaimo.
