1Drain the soaked Poppy seeds and combine them with Green chilies in a small grinder. Add a splash of water and grind to a smooth, thick paste.
2Heat Mustard oil in a heavy-bottomed pan or kadai over medium heat until it just begins to smoke lightly. Reduce heat.
3Add Nigella seeds to the hot oil and allow them to splutter for a few seconds.
